The Kansas Association of Community College Trustees is an Association which provides the framework for nineteen Kansas community colleges to assure a single strong voice in this state.  The community colleges of Kansas offer learners of all ages the opportunity for better tomorrows through responsive, top quality, affordable, accessible education.  Governed by a locally elected board of trustees working cooperatively with the State Board of Regents, each college offers academic class work in addition to specific technical training pertinent to local industry and special local community interest programs.  These dedicated volunteer trustees and the key staff they employ diligently work to provide an outstanding curriculum for a wide variety of students and to ensure educational excellence in higher education.

Whether it is the intermediary step between high school and university enrollment, technical training for a job specific occupation, or elective coursework in an area of special interest, community colleges assist students of all ages to realize their educational goals.  Our colleges, which are within reach of every community in Kansas, are preparing the 21st century workers to recreate the vibrant economy we need.  We invite you to learn more about us, visit our colleges and learn about our students, faculty, staff and programs and I am sure, if you are not already, you will soon be a fan of Kansas community colleges.
