Kansas Community Colleges work hard to ease the transition path from two year colleges to four year colleges. The National Student Clearinghouse Research Center’s annual report ranks Kansas number one in community college students going on to four-year degrees. In fact, Kansas ranked nine percentage points above the national average, and only five other states came close to the Kansas rate.
